A divine incarnation

A divine incarnation

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 16th May 2012, Melbourne, Australia) In the Vedic times, the universe also had periods like seasons that are rotating. Each of these universal seasons lasts from 400,000 to a million years. So there are four seasons in universal time and within a cycle of four, there are ten avatars that appear again and again. Vedic

Going against the tide

Going against the tide

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 3 October 2012, Bhagavad-gita class, Sydney, Australia) Krsna consciousness is not a process where the reward comes at the end only. There is a reward that will come at the end but there also is a reward that comes immediately! Immediately, the quality of life improves tremendously therefore one should not miss

To give faith to devotees

To give faith to devotees

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 14th September 2012, Lecture: CC Madhya-Lila 13.1-8, Pretoria, South Africa) It’s not difficult for Krsna to kill demons, that’s obvious. He is all powerful so he can do whatever he likes. The only reason why he personally kills demons is to give faith to his devotees. Krsna doesn’t have to do that either…

Staying connected

Staying connected

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, Czech Republic, 21st June 2012) Some things have not changed. Krsna hasn’t changed! Prabhupada hasn’t changed! Devotional service hasn’t changed! Like that, we can still connect again as soon as we are with the devotees. You know of Prabhupada’s disciples and not everyone continued to follow so strictly. It was also not so

Truly famous

Truly famous

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 3 October 2012, Bhagavad-gita class, Sydney, Australia) One of the opulences of Krsna is that he has all fame. In the nectar of devotion, Srila Prabhupada explains that a famous person is one who is known for unlimited good qualities; that is really a famous person. Everyone else is not truly famous.

The same mercy is here now

The same mercy is here now

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, Czech Republic, 21st June 2012)   Hayagriva went to see Prabhupada. He was sitting with Prabhupada for a long time and he said:

You know, it’s just like the good old days.
Prabhupada said:
There are no good old days. The present is equally good… it’s always good!
Just as Narottama Das Thakura

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
