What happened in 2025?
2025 was a year of continuity, growth and expanding the reach of Kadamba Kanana Swami’s teachings.
Together with the Peacock Tree NPC, we continued supporting five important preaching initiatives in South Africa: ISKCON Klerksdorp, WUSA, the Bhakti Yoga Society, the Soweto Ratha Yatra and the nationwide distribution of Srila Prabhupada’s books. These projects range from weekly community and university programmes to large public festivals reaching thousands of people. In total, €29,773 was transferred to support the South African preaching projects during 2025.
Publishing remained another important part of our service. We published Bhakti Vision: Eastern Perspectives on Western Insights and continued developing A Voyage to Transcendence, which is planned for release in 2026. We also reprinted Devotional Service, Guru & Disciple and Wonderful Krishna.
Kadamba Kanana Swami’s books continued travelling around the world. Approximately 5,000 books were distributed at festivals and gatherings, including Narasimha Caturdasi at Simhachalam, the Czech Summer Camp, Durban Ratha Yatra, the Vrindavan Tirobhava Festival and the Radhadesh Vyasa-puja. New translations were also completed in Italian, Hungarian, Slovenian and Slovak, while Guru & Disciple was printed in Russian.
Our digital outreach continued to grow. YouTube reached 25,600 subscribers and 145,500 hours viewed, Spotify reached 55,000 listeners and 667,000 streams, and Instagram grew to 30,300 followers. The new Kadamba Kanana Swami mobile app was also launched, offering free and advertisement-free access to lectures and kirtans. While the main public channels grew by approximately 11–16%, the app’s usage will be evaluated further in 2026.
During the year, a new Vision Team was formed to help shape a clear strategic direction for the foundation, support the different teams and explore opportunities for sustainable future growth.
The community also gathered in remembrance and celebration. The Tirobhava Festival in Vrindavan brought together disciples and well-wishers, with approximately 1,000 plates of prasadam distributed. Vyasa-puja was celebrated in many locations around the world, with the main gathering in Radhadesh welcoming approximately 130 participants.
Financial insights
In 2025, the foundation received 357 individual donations. Donations totalled €52,580, while sales and interest generated a further €8,212, resulting in a total income of €60,792.
Total expenses were €59,205. The largest allocation—€29,773—went directly towards the African preaching projects. Other expenses supported book and music publication, festivals, volunteer activities, social media, the mobile app, hosting and digital storage.
Looking forward
The work completed during 2025 has already created a strong foundation for the year ahead. Projects for 2026 include the publication of A Voyage to Transcendence, further development of audiobooks and music, the Walking with Srila Prabhupada e-book, Vaishnavi Sanga, meetings with Keshava Swami and the continuation of the annual Tirobhava and Vyasa-puja festivals.
