The ‘maha-mafia’ strikes again!

The ‘maha-mafia’ strikes again!

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 21st November 2012, Cape Town, South Africa) Many times I have been in these festivals where there were big arrangements – offerings to the deities with many tables and many preparations and the most wonderful offerings! Then afterwards, almost all the tables were carried to the prasadam hall. Then I saw  one table

Where there’s a will, there’s a way

Where there’s a will, there’s a way

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 21st November 2012, Cape Town, South Africa) In Vrndavan, there were devotees who were doing dandavat parikrama of Govardhan. I didn’t even walk around it this year, I wasn’t in shape but anyway, I have got a little Govardhan sila instead and I walk around that once. What to do? Somehow or other,

An allegory

An allegory

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 16 February 2010, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavadam 7.4.12) We are bound up in so much karma and we drag it with us. One cannot just walk away from it. That is the nature of karma. One man was walking in the Himalayas, he was at the foothills. He was feeling

That is where the gopis completely surrendered everything to Krsna. So, I decided that since I’m not so surrendered by nature, many times my mind

Competition with God!

Competition with God!

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 7 October 2012, Melbourne, Australia) Commonly in most traditions, God is accepted as all powerful, all knowing, timeless, ageless, beyond matter and not affected by it – eternal, in other words. We have a concept of God who has no limitation, who is not limited by anything. He is unlimited in all

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
