Maharaja is still in South Africa. His recovery and health regime are still top priority. Although far from fully recovered, he continues doing programs whenever possible. He returned to Durban on 1 January and during the two days spent there, he gave a Srimad Bhagavatam class and paid a visit to Krsna Das Swami. He

Bhagavatam is the answer to all questions

Bhagavatam is the answer to all questions

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 16 December 2012, Skype chat to Cape Town devotees)   We can just simply talk about Krsna. In Bhagavatam, there is an example given of people asking questions and it is said that everyone is asking questions and there are so many answers. There are questions in the market place, for example:

Based on fear

Based on fear

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 30 June 2012, Cape Town, South Africa, Bhagavad-gita Chapter 5)   Question: I was just thinking of how we could treat everyone as friends. Maybe we should not be thinking of our own Krsna consciousness and that other people should just go their own way while we are trying to grow spiritually. The existence of prema sarovar

The existence of prema sarovar

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 2 June 2012, Srimad Bhagavatam 5.13.5) The story of how prema sarovar came into being. The story basically describes how the divine couple, Radha and Krsna, were meeting in Vrndavan, at the side of Govardhan, and at that time a big bumble bee came. That big bumble bee started to buzz around the divine

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
