Giving us this strength

Giving us this strength

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 4 January 2013, Ladysmith, South Africa) Someone went through difficulties and then blamed Krsna. That is an offence, that we cannot do, that means that we have become so emotional that we forgot transcendental knowledge! Therefore, when we are not in such an emotional state then we have to hear transcendental knowledge because

Not a loser

Not a loser

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 12 January 2013, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Srimad Bhagavatam 4.30.50-51) In Vedic culture, good self-esteem is very much part of society. It’s not artificial; it’s genuine because one naturally begins to feel good about himself if you know that you are doing a good thing. Devotees don’t have to artificially muster up some self-esteem. It automatically

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 27 December 2012, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 8.6.39)   We see that not only is the Lord extremely powerful but Garuda is also very powerful because Garuda has a spiritual body. After spending two months on his own in Australia, Jananivasa joined me again in Belgium just before the Radhadesh Mellows (26-27 January). It was nice to see him again; after all he is my disciple, my personal servant and also my personal friend. Jananivasa, living up to his name, is a pujari at heart. So

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 2 January 2013, Durban South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 12.8.46)   Sometimes we see this mood, “In the name of sankirtan, anything goes.” It doesn’t really matter, break a rule here and break a rule there in the name of sankirtan. Rabbits are not natives of Australia. They were brought from England and because

Geography of Russia

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 20 January 2013, Radhadesh, Belgium, Caitanya Caritamrta 21.54) We see a contrast in the mood of Goloka and the mood of Vaikuntha. So, it is for this reason that we are studying the map (of the spiritual world). One might think, “Oh boy! A geography class – three dhamas and a river. Of course, there is always

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
