The kali yuga club

The kali yuga club

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 20 April 2013, Korsnas, Stockholm, Sweden, Srimad Bhagavatam 1.17.1) We see that the threshold for the human form of life is lowered in different yugas. In the satya yuga, to attain the human form of life, one has to be very qualified because in satya yuga human beings are very qualified. In the treta yuga, they

Reflecting on my life

Reflecting on my life

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 25 May 2013, Simhachalam, Germany) Sometimes when reflecting on my life, there are a good number of years in Krsna consciousness and there was also a life before that, but in reflecting on my life then sometimes I think, “Well, I did not really learn anything from the scriptures. Actually everything I learned, I learned from

Losing all glory

Losing all glory

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 7 May 2013, Simhachalam, Germany, Srimad Bhagavatam 9.6.41-42) If we don’t get absorbed in the sankirtan spirit, we may still remain very self-centred because we are so fallen. If we’re self-centred then the desire for self-aggrandizement, for our own glories will remain, which is a subtle form of sex desire, pratiṣṭhā. So this pratiṣṭhā – the desire

Empty hearts

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 10 May 2013, Simhachalam, Germany, Srimad Bhagavatam 9.6.50) Transcribed by Jnana-samudra das In this material world, we are born with a vacuum within our heart – a big empty heart!  When the heart is big and empty, then the bats of sinful desires fly around in the big cavities that are within

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
