Taking charge

Taking charge

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 02 May 2013, Radhadesh, Belgium, Venu-gita Talk) In the material world, you need to make people responsible. Prabhupada followed that system where he appointed people to take care of and be responsible for something. He put people in charge of things and that created a lot of friction because there are many people

Attracting special mercy

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 7 May 2013, Simhachalam, Germany, Srimad Bhagavatam 9.6.41-42) Question: Maharaja, our services and chanting are all absolute because our ultimate aim is to please Krsna. So, why does it matter what proportion you do? Why couldn’t one just do service or just read if it is all absolute? Yeah, it is all absolute but it

On having insurance

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 20 March 2013, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 8.12.7) One can take out insurance, there is no harm in that. In the treta yuga, they

Reflecting on my life

Reflecting on my life

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 25 May 2013, Simhachalam, Germany) Sometimes when reflecting on my life, there are a good number of years in Krsna consciousness and there was also a life before that, but in reflecting on my life then sometimes I think, “Well, I did not really learn anything from the scriptures. Actually everything I learned, I learned from

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
