Matter doesn’t exist

Matter doesn’t exist

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 20 March 2013, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 8.12.7) Allen Ginsberg, the poet, had conversations with Srila Prabhupada. In reading Srila Prabhupada’s conversations, I liked the ones with Allen Ginsberg because he was not Prabhupada‘s disciple. The disciples were too submissive -when they asked a question and got an answer, they never really

The kirtan party

The kirtan party

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, June 2013, Bratislava, Slovakia, Radio Interview) In the same group (kirtan party) I saw walking up the street, I noticed that the men were leading and the women were at the back. Is that normal and why is that? It’s not everywhere that it’s like that. It’s a little bit old fashioned.

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, June 2013, Bratislava, Slovakia, Radio Interview) All over the world, when you mention the word ‘Hare Krsna’, people will picture singing and dancing in the street. I experienced this myself when I saw the Hare Krsna movement walking through Bratislava; I noticed that everyone was smiling! It was difficult not to notice

Serving bodily demands

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 February 2013, Vrndavan, India, Caitanya Caritamrta Seminar 3) We feel very human. Our identification with this present bodily existence and all the needs, is very strong. In the teachings of Sanatana Gosvami, there is a verse, kāmādināṁ kati na katidhā pālitā durnideśās teṣāṁ mayi na karuṇā jātā na trapā nopaśāntiḥ, (Bhakti Rasamrta Sindhu

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
