Loving Krsna

Loving Krsna

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 30 June 2013, Vrndavana, India, Srimad Bhagavatam 6.16.34) Krsna is not a passive entity – it is not just about conquering Krsna – Krsna is also active. In the Gayatri mantras, he is established as a transcendental cupid, as a kamadeva who is shooting flower arrows. So, Krsna is just like cupid who is

From Vrndavana to Villa Vrndavana

From Vrndavana to Villa Vrndavana

From Bhumi Vrndavana in India, Kadamba Kanana Swami travelled on to Villa Vrndavana, a beautiful Hare Krsna Villa situated close to Florence in Italy. Maharaja, together with many fantastic kirtaniyas like Amala Harinama, Tarana Caitanya and Ojasvi, filled the 12 hours of daily kirtan with beautiful and ecstatic melodies. Maharaja also gave daily classes, first focusing on the Srimad Bhagavatam and then, during the

Visiting Sri Vrndavana Dham

Visiting Sri Vrndavana Dham

After the Czech summer camp, Kadamba Kanana Swami paid a visit to the holy land of India, more precisely to the topmost of holy places, Sri Vrndavana Dham. It was for just under a week, so the stay was short but still fully transcendental. On almost a daily basis, Maharaja participated in the 24 hour kirtan. Enthusiastic young devotees, whose only service is

Remaining fixed

It is said that at one point, Hiraṇyakaśipu, his father, did not like that Prahlada was becoming a devotee and showing interest in Krsna and so

Simple for the simple

Simple for the simple

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 25 December 2012, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 8.6.31)  Sometimes we have people who are so much into the rules and regulations but with that, they are not helping us because they make the process inaccessible to the general public. We see that Prabhupada didn’t do that. Therefore Prabhupada told us

Many gurus

Many gurus

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 April 2013, Radhadesh, Belgium, Vyasa Puja, Questions and answers) Relationships that are of a deep nature between vaishnavas, that are affecting one’s entire spiritual life and that have a binding effect on one’s spiritual life – such relationships can develop into diksha or siksha-guru type of relationships. There’s incidental siksha – maybe

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
