A glorious destination

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, September 2013, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 8.20.13) It is stated in the Bhagavad-gita, ‘One who does good will never be overcome by evil.’ That is a very important point because it sometimes seems that one who does good gets overcome by evil. But it actually means is that if a person has done

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 17 November 2013, Mayapur, India, Rasapurnima, Srimad Bhagavatam 10.33.19) Question:  It is pretty clear to me, from studying Srila Prabhupada’s books, that the way we access Krsna lilas is – as sometimes Prabhupada would say in his purports – to give our lives to the mission. But, as the times goes on,

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 02 October 2013, Melbourne, Australia, Srimad Bhagavatam 2.3.2-7) Even though we do not look for austerity, we do not spend the whole day trying to avoid austerity. (Kadamba Kanana Swami, September 2013, Cape Town, South Africa, BYS Lecture) I’m thinking about Carl Jung who in an interview was asked, “Mr Jung, would you say that you believe in God?” That’s a basic question when you interview Carl Jung because everybody knows that Jung was very religious. But Jung said, “No, I don’t believe

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 21 December 2011, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 7.14.2) The internal energy is the activity or the energy that pleases Krsna. It is the pleasure potency that has the power to please Krsna. Nothing else can please Krsna. In the interaction with devotees, there is that energy that can please Krsna,

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
