A profound prayer

A profound prayer

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 17 August 2014, Goloka Dhama, Germany, Srimad Bhagavatam 10.14.5-10) Sudama was a garland-maker who offered Krsna many nice garlands, sandalwood and other things. He used to go to Vrindavan regularly to collect flowers, so he had already met Krsna and made offerings, and was recognised by Krsna as a devotee. Once he

Judgement day

Judgement day

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 2009, Bhaktivedanta Manor, England, Lecture) At the end of our life, our own service will be judged but more important, is the service of our spiritual master, who is requesting Krsna, “Please accept him, he didn’t do well but accept him anyway.” This is actually how it works. Thus Srila Prabhupada is

Greatest thievery

Greatest thievery

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 26 September 2014, Durban, South Africa, House Program) There are many thieves in the world but who is the greatest thief? In Vrindavan, everyone knows Krsna is a thief – even as a child, Krsna was a thief; he would steal butter. Even his own mother, Yasoda, caught him one day right

Govardhana Parikrama

Govardhana Parikrama

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 29 October 2010, Govardhana Parikrama) Early in the morning, we left for Govardhana through dark, bumpy back roads and started our parikrama of Giriraja at Radha-Kund. Govardhana parikrama is certainly a yajna, but an ecstatic one though! We slotted into a steady pace and all along, we were chanting the Holy Name whilst

The enchanting flute

The enchanting flute

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 02 September 2014, Mayapur, India, Radhastami Lecture) Krsna roams through the forest of Vrindavan and then, Krsna sees on a leaf his name written with red kumkum. Then Krsna plays his flute and when Krsna plays his flute, the entire universe becomes agitated… When Krsna plays his flute, the cows in Vrindavan

Look for common ground

Look for common ground

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 September 2014, Durban, South Africa, Sunday Feast Lecture) Question: Can we have Krsna katha with Muslims and Christians? Will that change their hearts and make them take to devotional service? Srila Prabhupada said that there is a spark of Krsna consciousness in everyone; you have to find it and fan it.

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
