Can’t stop smiling

Can’t stop smiling

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 29 September 2014, Pretoria, South Africa, House Program) Another story that I have about Brahmananda – once in Vrindavan, Madhudvisa, another sannyasi, arranged that a picture would be taken. This picture was a group photo of devotees in ISKCON and Madhudvisa organized it all, with everybody nicely in the right position. Brahmananda

Love Thy Neighbour?

Love Thy Neighbour?

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 17 September 2014, Cape Town, South Africa, BYS Lecture: Leadership and Compassion) “Love thy neighbour” is a very good principle. The only problem is, I don’t! I don’t know if you love your neighbour, but I can not force my heart. My heart is what it is. It loves what it loves

Transcendental cures

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 29 September 2014, Pretoria, South Africa, House Program) Brahmananda was telling stories in Vrndavan and I was listening to those. He was ill and Prabhupada did not like it. Prabhupada was saying like, “How can you be ill? How can you be ill?” “I am just ill.” “You are always ill.” He

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 29 September 2014, Pretoria, South Africa, House Program) There are many stories to tell of Brahmananda. In the early days, Brahmananda became Prabhupada’s trusted representative. His nature was that he was completely surrendered to Prabhupada’s desire. Whatever Prabhupada would say, he would do it. I think if any quality is outstanding in

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 29 September 2014, Pretoria, South Africa, House Program) Srila Prabhupada came to the Western world. In the Western world, he began his movement and after a short time, he was successful in the Lower East Side. He began to attract some devotees. One of these devotees is Brahmananda Prabhu. HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
