(Kadamba Kanana Swami, October 2014, Mayapur, India, Siksastakam Seminar: Verses 1&2, Part 1) It was here in Mayapur, quite some years back, that once I chanted sixty-four rounds. It was probably a festival day and it was not easy because there were devotees everywhere who wanted to talk to me so I was avoiding everybody quite

When less is more

Transcribed by Kristin (Kadamba Kanana Swami, 22 June 2012, Czech Republic, Caitanya Caritamrta Adi lila 7.83)   Simple devotees are the ones who become advanced. Srila Prabhupada said that Krsna consciousness is so simple that one might just miss it. That is a very nice point because we have to become very simple by giving

No compromise!

No compromise!

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 24 September 2014, Scottburgh, South Africa, Youth Programme) One thing I really did not like was when my father used to say, “Son, life is a compromise.” That was like giving up before you had even started to try for the ideal. One year in Vrndavan, His Holiness Sridhar Maharaj gave the Bhagavatam class and during that class, at one point, he begins, “I feel that I have to speak. For a long

Where can you get such eagerness?

Where can you get such eagerness?

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 September 2014, Durban, South Africa, Sunday Feast Lecture)  Srila Gaura Kisora Das Babaji did not want to sleep. Sleeping is such a waste of time. But sleep is such a thing that happens on its own, whether you want it to or not, as some drivers have found out! Sleeping does not always come

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
