Mercy and service

Mercy and service

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 February 2013, Vrndavan, India, Caitanya Caritamrta Seminar 3) So, we are looking at mercy. Lord Caitanya is very merciful. Lord Nityananda is described to be more merciful because he is intoxicated with love of God. He is tasting the nectar of serving. By serving Lord Caitanya, Lord Nityananda becomes so intoxicated.

Touched by some shakti

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, November 2014, Mayapur, India, Youth Class Lecture)  At Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance festival, there was one lady who spoke and she was describing how she was a kid at the time of when Srila Prabhupada came to America. She remembered everything that Prabhupada said and about the cookies and all those things. She

Time is running out

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 22 December 2014, Cape Town, South Africa, Srimad Bhagavatam 9.19.19) Vanaprashta is not as scary as it seems. The spirit is that we simply dedicate the rest of our life to preparing for the next! Up to fifty years old, we can work on this life but then after fifty, we start

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 September 2014, Durban, South Africa, Sunday Feast Lecture)  Srila Prabhupada was working and still he was very conscious of Krsna. As a householder, in 1944, in the middle of the war, he produced the ‘Back to Godhead’ magazine. That was not easy, in fact it was very difficult because it was hard to

That is Krsna!

That is Krsna!

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 05 October 2014, Sydney, Australia, Sunday Feast Lecture) Who can understand Krsna? Who can understand that there is a personality behind all these unlimited energies? Who can understand that there is not only one universe, but that there are many universes and that all these universes are emanating from the Supreme Lord?

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
