About the PR Team
The PR team helps share important updates about Kadamba Foundation’s events and initiatives. We focus on making sure key messages reach the right people through media, social platforms, internal channels, and community engagement.
To allow enough time please send in announcement requests at least 14 days in advance.
What Do we need?
- Title suggestion
- 400-900 words in length and made up of short paragraphs. Events announcements can be shorter of course!
- Introduction on the event, purpose, event details, closing words, contact details
- Date, time and location (online or not)
- Featured image – This is the main image that people will see:
We require two featured image formats;


Classic formats, like posters/flyers, are not optimal for social media…..
- Other media (for social media, website)
- Good quality images (copyright free), posters, videos
- Links to related content, videos, etc

Publishing & Sharing
- The PR team reviews all announcements before they go live.
- Announcements are shared via:
- Internal channels: KF website, newsletters, WhatsApp groups.
- External platforms: Social media, press releases, and media outreach.
What Do we offer?
- Create and share event announcements.
- Connect with media and journalists.
- Run social media campaigns and engage with the community.
- Keep internal communication clear and timely (newsletters, WhatsApp groups, website updates).
- Produce content like articles, videos, and interviews.
