Sense Enjoyment – The Ultimate Goal?

Sense Enjoyment – The Ultimate Goal?

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, Vrindavan India 4 April 2019, SB 8.17.25-27) Everyone is an agent of the Lord. Everyone is part of the plan of the Lord. Some understand it, and some do not. The demons do not understand that they are actually also agents of the Lord’s destructive and oppressive force. They do not see

A Revolutionary Spirit

A Revolutionary Spirit

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 14 March 2019, Durban, South Africa, Lotus Park Nama Hatta)   In the introduction to the Srimad Bhagavatam, Śrīla Prabhupāda quotes a very famous verse (SB 1.5.11): tad-vāg-visargo janatāgha-viplavoyasmin prati-ślokam abaddhavaty apināmāny anantasya yaśo ‘ńkitāni yatśṛṇvanti gāyanti gṛṇanti sādhavaḥ This is the verse that speaks about viplavo, a revolution, so that attracts me because

A Devotional Universe

A Devotional Universe

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 17 August 2018, Vrindavan, India, Srimad Bhagavatam 8.1.19) The personal concept of the universe is very important. It is a devotional universe. The transcendental boatman

The transcendental boatman

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 14 March 2019, Durban, South Africa, Lotus Park Nama Hatta)   The waves hitting the Jaladuta were overwhelmingly powerful, and as Prabhupada was rocked about on the Atlantic ocean by the intense waves and wind, he was becoming very ill. Prabhupada had a heart attack. Then he prayed to Krsna , and he

The Essence is Transcendence

The Essence is Transcendence

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 04 August 2018, Vrindavan, India, Bhagavad-gita 4.9) Sometimes I feel that the temple is transcendental, the Bhagavad-gita is transcendental, the holy name is transcendental, and the devotees are transcendental. Everything is transcendental expect me; I am not transcendental. But to some extent we are elevated to the transcendental platform, because we are

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
