Experiencing a breakthrough

Experiencing a breakthrough

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 26 June 2015, Gita Nagari, United States of America, Srimad Bhagavatam 3.25.8) At the time of initiation, even if the vows are taken sincerely, how deep is our sincerity? Even in the best scenario, when the disciple very sincerely from the heart says, “I am going to give my life to you”, how deep

The greatest mantra

The greatest mantra

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 7 January 2017, Brisbane, Australia, Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.4) There are so many mantras out there? Why is the Hare Krsna mahamantra considered to be the most powerful one? Mantras are all invested with power. Previously, there were sages, who by chanting mantras, could do many things. Some people were fighting with mantras.

Crossing the desert of austerity

Crossing the desert of austerity

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 28 May 2019, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Srimad Bhagavatam 6.11.25) There is an oasis in the middle of a desert, and in this oasis, there are many people living. Living for a divine purpose

Living for a divine purpose

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 30 June 2012, Cape Town, South Africa, Bhagavad-gita 5.8-9) To be a well wisher of others, one could say: “Well, from now on, I’ll give something to every beggar on the street!” That is nice, but what will that person do with it? Maybe something destructive to himself? Maybe buy some intoxication? What

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
