Swallowing the bitter pill

Swallowing the bitter pill

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 2 February 2020, London, United Kingdom, Bhagavad-gita 9.22) Krsna consciousness is not a dreamy state of mind. Krsna consciousness is about realism. It is about actually seeing things as they are. To understand things a little deeper, then a little further; it is about looking up a little bit beyond the clouds.

The more we give, the more we gain

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 7 January 2017, Brisbane, Australia, Home Program Lecture) We may recall that Ramanuja Acarya’s spiritual master sent him to study under a great self-realised sage, and after a long time, that sage gave him a secret mantra. He said, “If you chant this mantra, you will attain all perfection; liberation from birth

Carve out time for Krsna

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 1 December 2019, Brisbane, Australia, Srimad Bhagavatam 2.3.20) We see that brahmanas in Vedic culture would refuse to simply take up a job. They just lived from teaching scriptures and glorifying scriptures. People would bring them some rice and other things and in this way they lived their whole lives; it was

HH Kadamba Kanana Swami Departs

Dear Devotees

On Thursday 9th March at 12.06pm, under the gaze of Śrī Giriraja, in the holy land of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma, in the loving company of his spiritual master and the vaisnavas, with a resounding kirtan party, His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami departed from this material realm.

"Intelligent persons who take shelter of beautiful Vrndavana's opulent vines melting with motherly love, and throw far away the idea that they are material, become supremely successful, both in this life and also after death." (Prabhodananda Saraswati, Vrindavana Mahimamrta)
