Profound Truth
This verse reminds us of the most profound truth in Krishna consciousness: we forget Krishna not because He wants us to, but because we turn away from Him by our own choice.
Just as the sun never stops shining but we can step into the shade, Krishna never stops giving love — but we can turn our hearts away and enter the darkness of illusion.
When we forget Him, we suffer confusion, anxiety, and disappointment, thinking, “I am this body, I am in control.” But when we remember Him, everything becomes clear again — like clouds moving away from the sun.
Meditating on this verse helps us deepen our humility and dependence on Krishna. It teaches us that:
1. Ignorance is not our real nature.
2. Remembrance is the path back.
3. Krishna’s mercy is constant.
When we truly understand this, we stop blaming the world or destiny and begin to take shelter of Krishna with sincerity. Every act of remembrance becomes a step closer to freedom.

Always depend on Krishna
The soul and Krishna are made of the same spiritual energy — both are conscious and eternal. But Krishna is the infinite ocean, while we are just tiny drops from that ocean.
The Lord never forgets, because He is complete.
But we, being small, can easily be covered by illusion when we turn away from Him — just like a spark that drifts away from the fire and loses its glow.
Our illusion begins the moment we think, “I am separate from Krishna.”
From that moment, we start chasing independence, only to find emptiness.
But the good news is — the spark can always return to the fire.
By remembering, chanting, and serving, we reconnect with the Supreme Consciousness. Our natural brightness returns.
This verse deepens our humility and strengthens our gratitude.
It reminds us:
1. We are always dependent on Krishna.
2. He never forgets us.
3. Our natural state is pure consciousness.
