What occupies our minds most of the time? Thoughts about the body’s needs and feelings, which keep us in a state of continuous physical awareness. We constantly try to manage these experiences—like hunger or lust—because they are uncomfortable and demanding. This class explores how we can find freedom from the body’s demands by absorbing our minds in Krishna, hearing about Him, and engaging in devotional service.

The Importance of the King
A king’s most important role is to uphold the principles of dharma, providing society with protection and stability. In Vedic times, this resulted in a peaceful culture where greed and crime were not prevalent. By contrast, modern society suffers as greed grows stronger, rules become weaker, and crime continues to rise. For this reason, teaching the wisdom of Vedic literature is essential. When everyone understands their duties, society can gradually restore its natural harmony and balance.

Even as demonic forces seem to take over the world, Krishna always comes to save His devotees.
