Rati Manjari devi dasi (TKG) has been part of the early 1980’s ISKCON Amsterdam posse. And she has been good friends with Kadamba Kanana Swami. One of her many qualities is her angelic voice. But don’t let that angelic voice fool you! That voice could easily compete with the rocking kirtans of Kadamba Kanana Swami. And proof of that was again her performance during the Kingsday 2025 in Amsterdam. I mean, who can play drums like a mad(wo)man and still thunder like thor?
As an expert musician she has released amazing albums and her latest album “Asabandha” is available on Youtube and Spotify As a good friend of Kadamba Kanana Swami she got inspired to write a special song for him. This song would describe Kadamba Kanana Swami’s life and devotion. During the Vyasa-puja event in 2023 she performed the song live with her crew. And now its available with an including video as well!
The song and including video was, of course, a team effort. The lead vocal is Rati Manjari and backing vocals byLocan dasa, Caitanya Caran dasa, Puspasara devi dasi, Nicole Sterk, Citralekha dasi.
